Stimson's Python is a diminutive, robust python found across much of arid central Australia. It is one of the smallest python species globally, well suited to a life among rocky outcrops and desert scrub.
Its small size and tolerance of harsh, dry conditions make it one of the most widespread pythons in the Australian interior.
